Bateman Horne Center just posted this video where you can see them shipping off patient samples to Japan, where a local team will research the metabolomic profiles.

Kinda cool to see a snap shot of the day to day of the people looking for a cure!

This week we sent 100 patient samples off to Japan! There, Professors Watanabe and Kataoka and the team at RIKEN (http://www.riken.jp/en/research/labs/clst/) will conduct cutting-edge metabolomics (an approach that looks for differences in metabolic profiles) to discern any differences in ME/CFS that could lead us to a biomarker!

No kidding - I didn't know they were doing metabolomics as well...I wonder why Japan? Do they say? I can't do video's right now.

@Cort No, they're not saying, just showing how they're putting the samples in a box and covering them with dry ice.
