An immune hole may have predisposed people to getting chronic fatigue syndrome and another study is underway to assess COVID-19 patients. A breakdown in the citric acid cycle is impairing energy production and producing increased lactate as well. Plus the blood of ME/CFS patients appears to contain a substance which triggers cells to use up energy and produce lactate....
