Could AI theoretically help us find solutions in our individual cases when we load in all of our medical history (blood work, medicine use, supplement use, the outcomes of that etc.) + all the scientific knowledge that is out there that is relevant to your own diagnosis profile and get a better idea of in which direction to take it all?
The problem for me is the following: What I'd need is a multidisciplinary team with knowledge of ME/CFS and co to look at my case, discuss it together and try some new things. But we all know that's not really available to most of us, it sure isn't to me here in the Netherlands. Could for example ChatGPT help us direct our specific goals to get better (at least symptomatically) so we know which specialist would help us most at a particular time?
I'm so tired of defending my case to my GP, who doesn't really know about ME/CFS (or any of the other diagnoses) to get a referral, to once again find out that the referral was not right and I actually needed, say, a neurologist over an endocrinologist. It's so wasteful to everyone's time, money and most importantly... Energy. The waiting lists are so crazy too, I'm losing valuable time here. I've been going at it for 17 years now, I'm so tired of no doctor truly helping or taking things seriously. Is there anyone who has used AI as a tool to guide themselves in order to get better care?
