Histamine H2's effect on the production of stomach acid is well known among doctors, while histamine H2's negative effect on the heart is less known.
Blocking Histamine H2 with H2 receptor antagonists (H2RAs) such as Famotidine can also be good for the heart not only acid reflux (GERD), especially for those with heart failure but probably also for those with Mast cell activation disease.

Is Histamine H2 Receptor a Real Promising Target for Prevention or Treatment of Heart Failure?

Histamine H2 receptor antagonist exhibited comparable all-cause mortality-decreasing effect as β-blockers in critically ill patients with heart failure: a cohort study

Blockade of histamine H2 receptors protects the heart against ischemia and reperfusion injury in dogs
