In the last three years, NHI has funded only 13 million dollars for research on ME/CFS against 17 million dollars in 2021. The amount is the lowest since 2016.
ME/CFS is clearly not a priority disease at NIH, and I cannot understand that so little money is spent on ME/CFS and Long COVID. Around 17.6 million American adults are grappling with Long COVID.
